Dropping Dimes Fantasy Basketball Predictions and An Introduction
So, I was browsing through ESPN.com today and saw that they had about 502 people or so picking and predicting the NBA seasonal awards. So, I thought I would ask the four other members of Dropping Dimes who they thought would win the NBA fantasy awards… and yes, I said four others, as in there are now FIVE of us. So without further ado, I’d like to formally announce the addition of Zack Francis to the Dropping Dimes squad. For those of you that frequented the fantasybasketball.com forums know Zack as bosox888, which is how we know him. He’s since went on to become a moderator at the Fantasy Lounge Forums and produces some “excellent writing” on the subsequent Fantasy Lounge website. This is my favorite. Thanks to our friends at the Fantasy Lounge for sharing Zack… man, that doesn’t sound right somehow.

Not one of you picked Josh Smith to be the total blocks leader. He was second last year and a few more missed games by kirilenko and he could easily be first. In my opinion he has a better shot than ben wallace or sam dalembert…...time will tell

Hey Nick,
Thanks for the comment. I have to admit I ALMOST picked Josh Smith, but obviously didn’t. Why? I think this is the season (FINALLY) that Dalembert gets it done for a whole season on a consistent basis and earns AT LEAST 30 minutes of burn o the court.
However, I do like J-Smooth’s game and think he’ll actually have a great WHOLE season. Usually, he doesn’t do as much pre-All Star as he does post-All Star game.
But, I think the big man in Philly will get the job done. As you said… time will tell.

Honestly, I almost went with Smith too…However, I think he could be playing a lot more PF this year than in years past, making him a bit undersized.
He’s way more fun to watch than Dalembert…How about that?
