Description

Happy Monday, all.

I just wanted to draw your attention to our man Kelly Dwyer’s post over at Yahoo! that breaks down a list of players with more blocks this season than the Newest Knick, Zach Randolph.

His post breaks down just a few players from the Western Conference.  And no, we’re not talking Tim Duncan and Yao Ming here…One name on the list?  Dan Dickau.  Seriously.  Dan Dickau…of 10 minutes per night fame.  Click Here for the rest, and a big thanks to whichever commenter pointed out that Daniel Gibson (six), all of 6’2” has three times the blocks that Randolph (two) has thus far.

Big thanks to Henry over at TrueHoop for the tip!

(Update: Here’s the link to the Eastern Conference)

Have you read some of the comments Kelly has been getting on his Yahoo blog?

Harsh!  He’s a regular contributer on the Bulls RealGM board too, and everyone over there is a little shocked by the hate.

Glad you’re giving Kelly a little love at DD!

Hi, I’m just looking for an ideal trade for my guys (dalembert, odom, stojakovic, gordon).

i’ve been trying to trade dalembert and odom as a package to get kaman or someone who could amount to their numbers. stoja and gordon are hard sells… any suggestion you guys can make or who i can acquire from these guys? i’m short on rebounds.. i dont know if the sam/odom for aldridge/kenyon would work… i’m just out of ideas on how to sell these guys

Thanks for the comment.

If you’re short on boards, I wouldn’t look to move Dalembert - he’s averaging a decent amount.

Gordon and Stojakovic would be ideal fits for someone who lacks threes - but you will not be able to pull a top notch player for either of them.

Cheaper sources of boards that I would look at include Jamario Moon, Jeff Foster, and even Reggie Evans.

I wouldn’t trade for Martin, as you’re buying pretty high following his huge game this weekend.  Aldridge would be nice, but his boards aren’t too ideal for his size and he’ll cost a lot due to his hype.

Does this help?

sure does help… so far my roster looks like this

Guards:
iverson
deron williams
gordon
peja (f)
stephen jackson (f)

forwards
LBJ
odom
kurt thomas (c)
jeff foster (c)
maxiell (c)
brand (c)

center
dalembert

i lost alot last week or maybe because james didnt play for me the whole week…
i always lose in TO’s and Rebs…

If it’s head to head, you may just want to scrap those two categories and look to just focus on your strengths.

If you can move Gordon or Peja for some assists/steals, you could be golden given the rest of your roster. Yea, you’d go 7-2 every week, but that’s alright!

who should i watch out for steals and assists? that i could spot for peja and gordon.

yeah we’re a 5 position play, daily roster change h2h.

Rajon Rondo is the first name that comes to mind.  Ronnie Brewer, Jamaal Tinsley and Devin Harris would be my next tier.  Cheaper sources would be Marko Jaric, Jordan Farmar and John Salmons…
