Just Because: Not-So-Block Party

Happy Monday, all.
I just wanted to draw your attention to our man Kelly Dwyer’s post over at Yahoo! that breaks down a list of players with more blocks this season than the Newest Knick, Zach Randolph.
His post breaks down just a few players from the Western Conference. And no, we’re not talking Tim Duncan and Yao Ming here…One name on the list? Dan Dickau. Seriously. Dan Dickau…of 10 minutes per night fame. Click Here for the rest, and a big thanks to whichever commenter pointed out that Daniel Gibson (six), all of 6’2” has three times the blocks that Randolph (two) has thus far.

On a night that pretty much lacked spectacular lines, there were a few that still stood out. No triple-doubles today folks. LeBron James got hurt. That’s why.
So did Chris Bosh, who deserves a mention, as he has been heating up nicely of late. Still, there was a surprise scorer, dime-disher, and more than a few rebounders, on a heavy slate of Wednesday NBA action.

The Fig Cap: Milk is chillin’... I am chillin’... What more can I say, top billin’.
For those of you that were waiting for the return of Dwyane Wade, to a lesser degree, Ron Artest, and to an even lesser degree, Stephen Jackson, your patience will be rewarded this coming week with a full set of games for the week. But before we get down with what individual players have been doing and could possibly continue to do, it’s time to peep the number of games each NBA team has going on in Week Four of the fantasy basketball season.

After a heavy weekend of games on Friday and Saturday night, the action was light with a six-game slate, but there was plenty of drama in fantasyland in head-to-head leagues. Anyways, yesterday was one of those funky one-game days fantasy owners hate (or love, depending on how busy you are). At least it was a good one. Too bad most people don’t get NBATV.
